The Challenge:
Rebrand an organization with a 30-year history in Wilson County while raising awareness about their services to newfound audiences.

The Humane Association of Wilson County has been in the Wilson County community for more than 30 years, but had experienced some negative connotations and misconceptions among the community. They turned to Peritus to create a fresh image that revitalized the brand, retained current supporters and attracted new ones. From media coverage on hurricane evacuee puppies taken in by the organization, to a community event where adoptable animals (in black-tail attire, of course!) walked the red carpet for a movie premiere at the Providence movie theatre, we raised much-needed awareness of the new brand and spread its humane message throughout Middle Tennessee.
The Result:
The New Leash on Life brand became recognizable throughout Wilson County and the Middle Tennessee area. Since the rebranding and PR rollout, the organization has been able to adopt more animals, obtain more funds and encourage the humane treatment of companion animals.
