Peritus College
Peritus College

Client: Peritus College

Project: Internal Communications

The Challenge:

While Peritus has been growing and evolving since the company’s inception, the past two years represented an eruption of growth and change. In addition to modifying the company logo and name, expanding services and geographical reach, the firm has also seen a dramatic increase in staff and introduced a new partner. While change can be positive, it can also lead to confusion both internally and externally if the company’ transformations are not fully explained and understood by the staff and agency stakeholders.

The Solution:

Services used:

Peritus College was created as the firm’s educational institution to ignite excitement about the Peritus brand, realign messaging, educate the staff about the full scope of our agency and introduce new plans and processes. At the launch of Peritus College, the staff was treated to a one-day brand refresher course. This fun, intimate, classroom-style atmosphere created the perfect environment for learning, discussion and team building. Learning tools developed for Peritus College included the Peritus textbook, enlarged versions of the Peritus timeline and organization chart, video and quiz booklets cleverly referred to as ‘red books’. The day’s activities culminated in an exciting team building activity in which teams of five competed to invent, market and launch a new brand.

The Result:

Upon the conclusion of Peritus College the staff was asked to participate in an anonymous survey. The positive feedback surrounding Peritus College was overwhelming. Over 95% of the staff credited Peritus College and the course materials as the most important step Peritus has taken to reveal individual growth paths, unify the brand, share company history, bridge knowledge gaps, practice team building through brand activities and discuss the long-term goals of the company. Most importantly, staff members are eager to learn more. Over 90% of the staff provided ideas for future Peritus College courses. Along with continuing education courses for current staff, Peritus College will also serve as the firm’s brand training course for all new staff members.
