When Almost Family, Inc., a leading regional provider of home health nursing and personal care services, purchased Florida-based home health care service provider Mederi Caretenders, Peritus was brought in to develop a corporate communications plan for the acquisition. We went on to build a meeting tool kit that helped Almost Family deliver its message to all Mederi employees and facilitate a smooth transition.
The Result:
These efforts paved the way for a successful transition for employees and patients affected by the acquisition. More importantly, the newly- acquired Mederi Caretenders experienced zero turnover because of the transition.
As a result of the successful acquisition, Almost Family has turned to Peritus for help with subsequent projects. Peritus developed a “Senior Advocacy” tagline to help employees from the many different home health care groups identify with a unified brand. This initiative has strengthened the Almost Family group of companies under a unique branding statement with consistent graphics that is used for internal and external audiences.
