Career Experience:
Tim Mulloy is the founder, chief executive officer and driving force behind Peritus Public Relations. His high-energy, no-nonsense approach to business has earned him the respect and trust of his clients and sets the tone for the work that we do.
"We're problem solvers. We assess a situation and we figure out how to win," Tim says. "It's no different than trying a lawsuit or running a real estate deal. It's sitting down and saying, what's your issue and how can we solve it.'"
Politics has been in Tim's blood since birth. His father was active in Kentucky's political scene growing up, and the first campaign Tim headed up was his brother's 1984 congressional bid. He went on to provide strategic counsel to numerous successful campaigns in Kentucky, the South and the Midwest. All the while, Tim was working as a lawyer and building his reputation as a player in Louisville's real estate development industry, founding Mulloy Properties in 1989.
After years of successful lobbying and political ventures, Tim joined with Bob Gunnell to form The Commonwealth Group, a Kentucky lobbying firm. That firm evolved into Peritus, which moved away from lobbying into a wide range of strategic counseling and communications services.

Scott has been a strategist at the highest levels of American politics. He spent nearly three years in The White House as an advisor to President George W. Bush, handling myriad issues and offering counsel on challenging political matters. Scott has earned the respect of some of the country's most powerful leaders.
At the White House, Scott served as a liaison to members of Congress, state and local officials, and key business, political and community leaders nationwide, in addition to advising the President on personnel matters, political issues, and his travel within the United States. Before he joined the White House staff, Scott managed President Bush's re-election campaign in New Mexico where he flipped the state from blue-to-red, one of only two states to go that way between 2000 and 2004. Scott’s efforts caught the attention of the White House, landing him in Washington. In 2008, Scott served as a Senior Advisor to Senator Mitch McConnell’s reelection campaign, and as Senior Strategist to Congressman Brett Guthrie’s nationally targeted race in Kentucky’s Second District. Both campaigns were successful.
In 2008, Scott was named by Business First of Louisville as one of the city’s Top 40 Citizens Under the Age of 40. Scott also serves on the Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Kentucky and is widely sought after by national, regional, and local media for comment on current events and political affairs.
You can frequently find Scott in local and national media coverage commenting on the political and policy affairs of the day. He has offered comment for The Washington Post, Politico, Roll Call, National Journal, The Hill, The Associated Press, the Louisville Courier-Journal, the Lexington Herald Leader, and McClatchy News Service, to name a few. Scott has also been interviewed for comment on political analysis by WHAS, WLKY, WAVE, WKYT, and statewide educational television (KET) in Kentucky. He has also appeared live on various television outlets and via satellite uplink from the Republican National Convention in 2008. Scott has been a guest on numerous radio shows, including the nationally syndicated Bill Cunningham Show on Premiere Radio Network. Scott has appeared on radio stations across the country commenting on politics and policy matters, such as health care reform legislation.
Another part of Scott’s time is spent speaking to groups and offering political briefings and analysis. He has appeared at universities, in front of civic organizations, and political groups. A key role Scott played at the White House, in fact, was offering briefings to groups visiting the White House regarding the President’s agenda and the national political environment.
