Professional development is at the core of our PERITUS public relations culture. Peritus PR has been able to grow and diversify as a result of incredible mentors who have impacted each team member's career since their first college communications course. Student success plays a major role in the future of the public relations industry, and our firm.

A Peritus PR internship is more than just a great credential to put on your resume; it’s the hands-on, professional work experience that will help give you a head start on the competition and explore your areas of interest in public relations, communications  or public affairs. Our goal is to prepare interns for the future by providing them with the most challenging, dynamic work environment possible.

Our Birmingham team personalizes each internship to align with future career goals. We ensure you leave here with a clear vision for your future through sound mentoring counsel, tangible resume results and the opportunity to work on projects that actually interest you. Whether you want to expose yourself to the challenges of issue advocacy, experience pitching a national reporter, or influence a digital campaign strategy, you will hit the ground running with relevant and collaborative client-work projects.
