director of accounts

After completing his Master of Public Administration from Auburn University, Chris started his career with the David Mathews Center for Civic Life (“DMC”). While at DMC, he developed messaging guides, launched statewide programs, and worked with a dynamic board of directors. These early experiences deepened his appreciation for storytelling and community engagement, later leading him to a range of interrelated fields including public relations, higher education, and nonprofit management.

Throughout his career, Chris has prioritized civic engagement and creative expression. He has served on several boards of directors for nonprofit organizations including the Alabama Association of Nonprofits and Alabama Possible. In addition, he has performed in bands and booked concerts and festivals for many years. Currently, he is earning a Master of Arts in English from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with the goal of completing a collection of poems and short fiction by December 2025.

He loves spending time with his wife, Hannah, and their daughter Elizabeth (“Birdie”). They love visiting City Walk BHAM and chasing their cats around the neighborhood.
