Erin Vogt, APR

A North Florida native, Erin brings nearly 20 years of communications experience to Peritus, where she serves as Chief Operating Officer and a senior advisor to mission-driven organizations across Alabama. She specializes in crisis management, internal communications and executive positioning, guiding leaders through moments where clarity, steadiness and empathy matter most.
Erin’s expertise spans global consumer brands, civic and nonprofit organizations and many of Alabama’s largest employers. Throughout her career, she has managed complex reputation strategies and organizational communications, helping clients anticipate challenges before they emerge. Known for quickly spotting gaps and building consensus around solutions, she supports leaders as both a strategist and a steady partner.
Her insights on agency operations have reached national audiences as a speaker at PRSA’s Counselors Academy and as a published author for Strategies & Tactics. Erin holds an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media Studies with a minor in psychology from Florida State University.
Outside of Peritus, Erin invests deeply in her community and industry. She serves on the board of directors at Mountaintop Church and holds leadership roles with United Way of Central Alabama, the Public Relations Global Network and the Public Relations Society of America. To recharge, you can find her exploring local coffee shops, hiking Alabama’s trails, learning watercolor or taking weekend camper trips with her husband, three boys and pointer mix.
